    Victus Puerto Rico, Inc. is a not for profit organization that provides legal and professional advice free of cost to the underserved Puerto Rican farmers so that they can know and comply with all the necessary legal requirements and the necessary steps to enhance for their farming operations and helps Puerto Rican farmers increase their operational funds through the implementation of effective outreach strategies to connect them with local and federal agencies that can provide them with multiple services and funding opportunities.

    Traditionally underserved Puerto Rican farmers.
  • What does underserved mean?
    Traditionally underserved populations refer to communities that may face barriers to receive different services, such as latinos, african americans and women.
  • What services can I receive from the USDA?
    The USDA provides many services such as the implementation of conservation practices, funding, loans and others. Follow our page for the announcement of future activities and educational programs about this topic.
  • What do I have to do to receive services from the USDA?
    A framer who wishes to access federal assistance must register their farm at the Farm Services Agency of their region. https://www.fsa.usda.gov/state-offices/Puerto-Rico/index
  • Do I have to own the farm to receive services from the USDA?
    A farmer does not have to own the farm, but must be able to present a legal title such as a rental or lease agreement that lasts for at least 5 years.
